Bátor táncosok, jelentkezzetek!

A német-magyar művészeti fesztivál, a SZOBA|R|T (http://szobart.tumblr.com/) keretében szeptember 19-23-a között a Gozsdu Udvar live-coding és táncimprovizációs jammelések helyszínévé válik. A táncosok és a Kitchen Budapest csapata egy hétre leereszkedik a Gozsdu Udvar alatti sötét tárnákba, hogy kikísérletezze és feltárja a mozgás és a számítógéppel generált vizuális tartalmak közt rejlő kapcsolatokat. A live-coding során az előadó programozással olyan vizuális tartalmakat improvizál, melyek reagálnak a zene és a tánc elemeire.

FIGYELEM:

- Ha félelmet nem ismerő táncos vagy, aki improvizálni is mer gépek és uraik előtt, akkor TE kellesz nekünk!

- Gyere el egy vagy több este 7 és 10 között a Gozsdu Udvarba a SZOBA|R|T harmadik hetén. Majd a 23-ai záróelőadás során bemutatjuk a kialakított koncepciók, kísérletek közül a legjobbakat.

- Bármilyen táncstílust és tudásszintet szívesen várunk, fő a kötetlenség és az impro!

From Monday 19 until Friday 23 September, a number of livecoding and dance improvisation jams will take place at SZOBA|R|T (http://szobart.tumblr.com/), a German-Hungarian Urban Art project, which will take part for one month in an abandoned building on Gozsdu Udvar, Budapest.

A group of coders and dancers from Kitchen Budapest will be occupying the dark cellars of the SZOBA|R|T space for a week to experiment with live coding, kinects, projectors and dancers. We will explore how movement and live computer generated visuals can produce interesting synergies.

Live coding is a type of performance where programmers show off their visual coding skills in realtime. Completely live, you see animated graphics come to life in a projection, while a group of programmers punches in code to entertain their audience with a (audio)visual spectacle. We are curious to see how well dancers and programmers can improvise and interact together on the spot.

- Are you a fearless dancer who is not afraid to improvise with machines and their masters? Then you should come jam with us between 7-10 pm during one (or more) of the nights of SZOBA|R|T's third week.

- We will go completely freestyle and develop some theatrical concepts through improv and experimentation. On Friday 23 September there's the opportunity to present some of the results from the jams to the public.

- Any dance style or level is welcome, the most important thing is that you are openminded and like improvising and experimenting with others.

- Musicians who want to improvise can join the jam too!
